Image Mount Pleasant Public Library is proud to present an online exhibit for Titus County, Texas. This database contains photos of the early pioneers of Titus County, as well as historical artifacts. Many of the items were donated by the descendents of these families, who settled in the area while Caddo Indians were still in residence. Disclaimer The photos and biographical information located here are part of the Pioneers and Heroes Portrait Collection donated to the library during the early 1970s. Traylor Russell published the photos and additional information in his book, "Pioneers and Heroes of Titus County" (c1974). The Mount Pleasant Public Library does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information provided.

These exhibits are located in the basement of the Mount Pleasant Public Library and are open to the public for viewing during regular library hours. The Library is located at 213 North Madison in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
